NDM: Mail Online traffic soars by nearly 20%

This article on the increase popularity for the website Mail Online. According to the Guardian, Mail Online had another increase in traffic in January which gave them 190million monthly users all together. This is significant in highlight the website's popularity, as Mail Online has repeatedly been successful globally and have the most users compared to any other news website. For example, The Guardian has 50,000,952 daily average browsers compared to Mail Online with 11, 789, 620.

Furthermore, Mail Online's monthly browsers increased by 17.5%, compared with December from 161.3 million to 189.5. Arguably, the increase of the monthly users could be because of the different features included on the website. For instance, the TV & Showbiz feature would certainly appeal to individuals who are interested in the latest celebrity  update. Thus they are more likely to engage with the content by subscribing or downloading the mobile app.

To conclude, it is fair to say that Mail Online is on we of the most popular news online. This is because, the different features included on the website focuses on issues globally and therefore more people are likely to visit it.
