Self Evaluation for my Internet Video.

Using the Mest 4 production criteria (ACTUP) for Aesthetic my average level I received is level 3 (fully realised). The comments I received for Aesthetic was:

  • Good/well paced
  • Music effectively
  • Looks professional
  • Edited well
  • Pictures was good
  • Use of text was good
Notably, my average level for Creativity is level 3 and the comments I received for this was:
  • Well chosen images
  • Creative
  • Lots of images, facts and transition used
  • Showed a lot of useful information
  • Music was effective
  • Music made it much more lively
  • Range of different topics
  • Images and music
Moreover, for Technology my average level is 3 and the comments I received for this was:
  • Good use of editing and pictures
  • Interesting/smooth flow
  • Images and music linked
  • Good use of shots, however would of been better if the slides were a bit longer
  • Transition/editing
  • Good use of camera
  • Simple but effective presentation
Furthermore, for Understanding my average level is 4 and the comments I received for this was:
  • Knowledge about the internet
  • Lots of facts and clear understanding
  • Lots of information
  • She knew what she was talking about
  • Showed a great amount of knowledge
  • Gave the pro's and con's of using the internet
Lastly, for Production my average level is a 3 and the comments I received for this was:
  • A well structured video
  • Not too professional
  • Good production
  • She spent time on it
  • Really good
  • Clear understanding of the internet
  • Add voice over
Overall, for the production WWW - Really informative and well researched throughout/

Ebay revenue is 14.07 billion.

5. What is its overall worth?
Ebay overall worth is about 60 billion

  • Ebay is a world wide online market place with 223 million customers.
  • Ebay global presence is in 37 markets including United States.
  • The website was launched in the UK in October 1999
  • "Ebay estimates that 178,000 users run a business or use eBay as their primary or secondary source of income"
  • "40.62% of active internet users visit Ebay at least once a month"

The first linked Wikipedia article is about how to build a trust with and improve shopping experience. http://knowwpcarey.com/article.cfm?cid=25&aid=1171 The article includes information about Ebay and the amount of people who use it to buy their shopping or any other items. The article states how Ebay is one of the biggest and longest company which has become a success in collecting and using data. The second article focuses on animal and wildlife products.  http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/wildlife.html The article explains how a certain amount of wildlife products are allowed due to the governments concern.
